PUBLIC NOTICE
IMPORT PROHIBITION LIST (TRADE)
The Nigerian Customs Service wishes to draw the attention of
the entire public to the following list of goods whose importation
has been banned by the Federal Government.
The goods are:

• Sorghum
• Millet
• Wheat flour
• Kaolin, Bentozite
• Gypsurri
• Mosquito Repellant coils
• Retreaded/Used tyres
• Gaming machines
• Second-hand clothes
• Vehicles of any kind through the land borders
• Used fridges and air conditioning units
• Used compressors
• Vegetable oil in bulk
• bagged cement
• Containerised goods through the land borders
• Vehicles that are above five (5) years old
• Frozen poultry
• Cassava and Cassava products
Henceforth, a breach of this proscription will not only lead to the
forfeiture of the goods, these apprehended will be visited with the
full weight of the law.

The Nigeria Customs Service intends to implement this order with all
emphasis at its command.
